How Can Joanna Help You?
Joanna can help your maintained school, academy or multi academy trust with a wide range of legal issues including (but not limited to) exclusions and other disciplinary matters, admission arrangements and admission related issues, special educational needs and EHC plans, data protection and freedom of information requests, parental complaints and allegations, disputes between parents (including separated parents), equality related matters (for example, disability, race or gender reassignment related issues), and family and criminal law related matters.
Joanna can help you deal with problematic pupils and parents, difficulties with the local authority, the ESFA and Ofsted, check your school policies to see if they are compliant and fit for purpose, and help you with drafting correspondence to parents and other parties in a way aimed at resolving issues promptly.
Meeting Your Needs
Joanna works with Headteachers, Governors, Trustees and staff in a practical and sympathetic way aimed at dealing with the legal issues they face in school in a timely and efficient manner, allowing them to get back to carrying out their normal duties with the minimum of disruption.
She aims to quickly establish the issues that need to be resolved, what you hope to achieve, and the best and most cost effective way for you to achieve it.
