Experienced Planning Solicitors

We can provide you with a full planning law service. We regularly advise on:

  • Planning applications
  • Appeals and judicial review
  • Objections, s.106 agreements
  • Town and Village Green advice
  • Enforcement notices
  • Certificates of Lawfulness and Permitted Development Rights
  • Compulsory Purchase Orders
  • Listed buildings

Our planning solicitors advise both developers and local authorities on post-planning highway matters, including the negotiation of s.278 highway works agreements and s.38 highway adoption agreements. We also advise on complex highway matters involving unregistered land where the ownership is unknown, overcoming potential 'ransom strip' scenarios.

Our planning law clients include infrastructure operators, property developers, property investors & occupiers, universities, independent schools, academies and local planning authorities.

Leading Infrastructure Solicitors

We are one of the UK's leading teams for linear infrastructure, particularly cross-country and local (major) pipelines. We act for operators who own more than half of the UK's network of cross-country oil pipelines.

We can advise you on the planning and land acquisition/assembly for new projects. We regularly deal with encroachments within easement strips, injunctions and claims for infringements of rights. We provide legal advice with the knowledge of industry best practice and provide practical, cost-effective options.

Together with our Compulsory Purchase team, our infrastructure solicitors can advise you on all aspects of the relevant consenting regimes including Development Consent Orders, Transport & Works Act Orders, and Compulsory Purchase Order schemes under the Highways Act and local planning for development sites.
