We are one of the UK's leading teams for linear infrastructure, particularly cross-country and local (major) pipelines. We act for operators who own more than half of the UK's network of cross-country oil pipelines.

We can advise you on the planning and land acquisition/assembly for new projects. We regularly deal with encroachments within easement strips, injunctions and claims for infringements of rights. We provide legal advice with the knowledge of industry best practice and provide practical, cost-effective options.

Together with our Compulsory Purchase team, our infrastructure solicitors can advise you on all aspects of the relevant consenting regimes including Development Consent Orders, Transport & Works Act Orders, and Compulsory Purchase Order schemes under the Highways Act and local planning for development sites.
