Jen is a solicitor in our Regulatory Compliance team. Prior to joining VWV, she spent over two years supporting health and social care providers with all manner of regulatory investigation and enforcement action. Since joining VWV, she has supported education providers with regulatory compliance.
Jen has extensive experience representing clients in tribunal appeals and challenging regulator decisions which adversely affect their business. She also has experience in dispute resolution, litigation, education regulation, judicial review and inquests. Jen has supported clients through coronial investigations, disputes with local authorities, and advised on registration requirements, and local authority commissioning responsibilities.
More recently, Jen's experience has included assisting and advising clients on personal injury and discrimination claims and related settlement negotiations, fee disputes, challenging EHCP decisions, debt recovery, and health and safety requirements.
Recently, Jen has helped a client to successfully judicially review a local authority decision and negotiate costs recovery as well as drafted correspondence to local authorities in order to persuade them to agree fee uplifts proffered by clients.
She enjoys the opportunity to work across a wide range of disciplines, and in particular supporting and advising clients through litigation processes and regulatory investigations.
Jen is based in our Bristol office, but can support you nationally.
