
Natalie is a Legal Director in the Regulatory Compliance Team, specialising in providing litigation, regulatory and health & safety advice to a range of commercial, charitable and public sector clients.
Natalie's day to day work focuses on advising education clients including independent schools, early years providers, special schools and colleges, academies and maintained schools as well as universities and FE Colleges on regulatory compliance matters.
She regularly advises clients to manage all aspects of claims, complaints, safeguarding and health and safety issues, including the management of accidents and critical incidents, medical conditions and allergies.
Natalie represents interested persons and core participants in inquests and public inquiries, including representing schools in the Independent Inquiry into Child Sexual Abuse (IICSA) and the Infected Blood Inquiry, and regularly supports clients in their interactions with inspectorate bodies and regulators including the DfE, Ofsted, ISI, the CQC and the Charity Commission.
Natalie prides herself on providing calm, practical, pragmatic and empathetic advice to clients who find themselves facing critical incidents, accidents or emergencies.
Natalie has a specialist interest in advising special schools and colleges and is currently a trustee of the National Association of Special Schools (NASS).
For personal and professional reasons, Natalie has a particular affinity with those who educate and care for children and young people with SEND. This is why she is so delighted to have a special focus on her work special schools and colleges which enables her to play a small part in supporting them to continue the invaluable work in educating and caring for some of the most vulnerable children and young people in society.
Natalie is based in our Bristol office, but can support you nationally.

Natalie is a working mum to 2 young children and 2 cats, loves travelling, and has spent a number of years studying and working in Spain.
Natalie enjoys the great outdoors and nature and can often be found on the seashore rockpooling or collecting shells, seaweed and driftwood for her arts and crafts hobby.
