VWV is pleased to announce the acquisition of Vistra’s UK legal advisory team
VWV has welcomed the six-member legal team from Vistra, a global provider of professional services, strengthening the firm's specialist employment and corporate offering.
The team, led by Victoria McMeel joining as Partner, previously operated as a regulated law firm within the wider Vistra business. As the successor practice, VWV will take on all of the team’s existing legal work with client matters and relationships transferring seamlessly. Clients will continue to be advised by the same lawyers they already know and trust, with the added breadth and depth of VWV's wider practice behind them.
The team joins VWV having built a strong reputation for pragmatic, commercially focused advice across a broad range of employment and corporate matters. The move strengthens VWV's ability to support clients through every stage of their business journey, from complex corporate transactions to sensitive workplace issues.
Victoria McMeel trained at VWV before qualifying into the firm's Employment team and returns to lead the new group as an employment Partner. Victoria's extensive employment expertise covers everything from complex exits to organisational change and TUPE transfers.
Nicole Spurling is also joining as a corporate Partner, bringing over a decade of experience advising companies, entrepreneurs and investors on transactions across the business lifecycle.
Victoria and Nicole are joined by Adam Wadsley (Senior Associate), Edward Smith (Associate), Matthew Larkham (Corporate Onboarding Officer), and Harvey Sprague (Paralegal).
