Jonathan is a Commercial Solicitor, specialising in the areas of Intellectual Property (IP), Pharmaceutical and Life Sciences, and Technology.
Jonathan completed a bachelor's degree in Chemistry at the University of Nottingham, before converting to law, nurturing an interest in the Life Sciences Sector.
Prior to starting his training contract with VWV, Jonathan worked as the legal analyst for a tech start-up based in Cape Town, offering Payroll Software as a Service across four jurisdictions.
Jonathan's science background and time spent in a tech company means he can quickly get to grips with issues faced by clients and provide commercial advice, as well as legal.
As technology continues to take a more acute role in the norms of working across all sectors and services, clear advice and drafting are crucial. Working for a variety of clients, including those in the higher education, pharmaceutical and technology sectors, Jonathan can translate gained experience to find the best outcome for the client and help with their business.
Jonathan is based in our Watford office but can support you nationally.
