Rhiannon is an Associate in the Commercial Litigation and Dispute Resolution team. She acts for a variety of clients (including educational institutions, charities, public bodies, companies and partnerships) on a wide range of matters such as professional negligence claims, disputes relating to the supply of goods and services, contractual issues relating to breach and termination, debt recovery matters and cases involving civil fraud.
Rhiannon is also a member of the firm's reputation management and information law teams and advises clients on defamation and malicious falsehood matters, harassment, problematic online and social media posts (including take down requests on social media and review sites), confidentiality, data protection and privacy breaches, privilege issues and brand/intellectual property infringements.
Rhiannon's experience includes advising on disputes at all stages of proceedings from pre-issue to enforcement of judgments (including litigating matters through the County and High Courts), considering different methods of settlement at all stages. Rhiannon has dealt with settlement negotiations and meetings as well as mediation. She encourages clients to seek to resolve issues through alternative dispute resolution with a view to saving them time and cost, and also for the additional confidentiality benefits it can bring.
Rhiannon provides pragmatic advice and works to help clients resolve disputes in the most efficient and cost-effective way, avoiding the time and cost that litigation entails where possible.
As well as litigation advice, Rhiannon also provides crisis management support, assisting with liaising with key stakeholders, regulators and insurers (as well providing contacts who can offer wider support such as PR and cyber security contacts).
Rhiannon is based in the Bristol office, but can support clients nationally.

Outside of work Rhiannon enjoys city breaks, walking (with pub stops), live music and trying to get PBs on the Peloton.
Rhiannon is part of the 'mixologist' team making cocktails at VWV's famous firm cocktail nights. She is also an active member of VWV's CSR Committee, the Bristol Legal Sector Community Engagement Group and Bristol Junior Chamber.
