New Neurotechnology Report Published by UK Regulator, ICO
A report on neurotech and its potential risks has recently been published by the ICO.
The report indicates that swift developments are being made within neurotech for uses such as in marketing and wellbeing. The ICO has identified a risk that, if the technology is only tested on a narrow range of individuals, data embedded in it will be incorrect and potentially bias. The ICO has stated that it will present further guidance on this topic shortly.
