GSK Global Headquarters to Move into London's Knowledge Quarter

The moves brings GSK's new global headquarters closer to the UK's Life Sciences Hub and London's Knowledge Quarter, in addition to existing partners, such as the Francis Crick Institute and King’s College London. Following the pandemic, the company has emphasised its focus on creating a hybrid working environment for their 3,000 staff, and an office space which can help the company to achieve 'net zero' by 2030.

Given a wide choice of potential locations, this is a positive sign of the global pharmaceutical industry's confidence in the UK as a leading hub for innovation in the sector, particularly in the Golden Triangle of London, Cambridge and Oxford. Another example is the nearby Tribeca development, where institutes such as the London Bioscience Innovation Centre will be expanding into this coming year.
