This new space, called the 'Innovation Gateway', shall provide life sciences companies operating in the area of cancer research the chance to work alongside the ICR and shall include a research space complete with laboratories and office space.
The Innovation Gateway is the next phase of expansion for the London Cancer Hub, which already includes the ICR and The Royal Marsden Hospital and is set to sit in a primary position next to the Centre for Cancer Drug Discovery.
The announcement of the Innovation Gateway comes alongside an invitation from the ICR who are seeking companies to take residence in late 2021 with a particular focus on those companies seeking to collaborate with the ICR in a wide range of areas focused such as Big Data and AI, as well as drug discovery and development in the cancer space.
The ICR has always been, and continues to be, a world-leader in the area of research and development of innovative new techniques both for the prevention and treatment of a wide range of cancers.
This project will facilitate life sciences companies to collaborate with the brilliant people at ICR, therefore having access to its core scientific facilities.
We look forward to hearing about the new and innovative projects which will surely come out of such a wonderful workspace.
