Salary Sacrifice for School Fees Update - August 2016
There have been two recent developments - one affecting the operation of salary sacrifice schemes during periods of maternity leave and the introduction of an HMRC service.
We have been helping schools to set up salary sacrifice schemes for the payment of school fees using our template documentation since 2009.
Between 2009 and 2016, there were no material legal developments affecting salary sacrifice schemes. However, there have been two recent developments - one affecting the operation of salary sacrifice schemes during periods of maternity leave (and other periods of statutory leave) and the introduction of an HMRC service which allows the payrolling of taxable benefits.
Setting up a Scheme
If you have not set up a scheme and would like to do so we can provide you with template documents and advice for a fixed fee to achieve this. The documents we have developed for this purpose include:
