Family Law Specialist Joins VWV's Birmingham Office

With many years of practising experience, Lucy is able to advise on complex aspects of family law, including pre and post nuptial agreements, divorce and the related financial relief, children matters, international relocation/Hague convention matters, and matters relating to cohabitees. Lucy joins VWV from Harrison Clark Rickerbys, prior to that she was with Mercy Messenger.

Lucy is noted for her ability to provide robust and practical advice whilst dealing with each client in a sensitive matter, ensuring the best possible outcome.

VWV Managing Partner Simon Heald said:

"We are delighted to welcome Lucy to the firm. I am confident that she will build on the current growth that we are experiencing in our Birmingham office, including our Private Client team. The office has seen year on year growth over the last two years of 50% and 54% respectively.

Lucy's arrival is testament to our commitment to support clients in the Birmingham area, with the added option of now offering family law."

Lucy commented on her appointment:

"I am very much looking forward to the new challenge of setting up the family department in the Birmingham office. There is a great deal of work in Birmingham and family will complement VWV's highly regarded Private Client team perfectly."

In addition to her work as a lawyer, Lucy is a member of the Birmingham Breakfast Rotary Club and is currently assisting with a charitable venture called 'Shelter Bus'. Though in the early stages of development, it is hoped Shelter Bus will provide refuge to those sleeping rough in Birmingham and alleviate some of the pressure on the charities that are desperately trying to assist those people. Lucy is also a member of the IoD.
