Nationally, there are 38 LEPs who all play a vital role in helping businesses respond to economic challenges on a local and national level. Living and working locally, Emma Cameron who is based in VWV's Watford office, is ideally placed to bring her existing knowledge of the challenges and opportunities businesses face within Hertfordshire to the LEP.
Emma said: "I'm delighted to have been given the opportunity to represent SME businesses in Hertfordshire. It's a challenging time for all businesses, and I'm looking forward to working with the rest of the board to help promote and support Hertfordshire SME businesses within our region."
Mark Bretton, Chair, Hertfordshire LEP and the LEP Network, said: “Our business-led Board is responsible for setting the overall strategic vision and priorities for economic development in the county. With SMEs making up the vast majority of Hertfordshire businesses, it is vital that their views are heard. We’re delighted to welcome Emma onto our Board as their representative and look forward to benefitting from her unique strengths and insights.”
