Allison Cook, an employment specialist based in the Bristol office, and Katie Hickman, a property litigation expert from the London office, join the firm's partnership, which will take the total to 61.
Allison joined the firm in 2000 after training at Osborne Clarke. Having joined the VWV employment team, she advises employers on all employment law related issues, from recruitment through to dismissal. She is also the lead partner for maintaining and developing the firm's reach into the local government and emergency services sectors.
Katie trained and qualified at the firm and is experienced in advising clients in all contentious property matters, including in relation to compulsory purchase. Her clients span the public sector, charities and commercial organisations, as well as an array of private clients. She has been recognised by independent legal directory Legal 500 as a 'recommended lawyer' for the past two years.
