Amy is a Senior Associate in the Family team, based in our Birmingham office.

Amy assists and supports clients to resolve legal issues arising on the formation or breakdown of family relationships in a constructive way. Amy specialises in mid to high net worth financial remedy proceedings, cohabitation disputes and prenuptial and post nuptial agreements. Amy also has expertise and experience in private law children act proceedings involving domestic abuse, intractable child arrangements and internal/external relocation.

Amy has 10 years experience working in Family Law, first as a paralegal and then qualifying as a solicitor in 2014 at a top tier Legal 500 firm. Amy was part of the successful husband's legal team in the Supreme Court case Mills v Mills [2018] UKSC 38.

Amy is a member of resolution and follows their Code of Practice that promotes a constructive approach to family issues and considers the needs of the whole family. Amy used to sit on the committee of Yres West Midlands and helped to organise seminars and networking events for junior family lawyers working in the West Midlands in addition to managing the social media pages.

Amy spent three months travelling and volunteering in Peru in 2011, helping to rebuild homes that had been damaged by an earthquake in the small town of Pisco and getting involved in community improvement projects.

In her spare time Amy enjoys yoga, travelling and spending time with her young daughter and family.
