Samuel is an Associate in the Commercial team, based in our Bristol office.
Sam advises clients on a wide range of commercial matters, with a particular focus on IT and technology contracts including software as a services (SaaS) agreements and associated support agreements. In particular, Sam's experience includes drafting, negotiating and advising business clients on:
- agreements for the supply of goods, services and IT (B2B and B2C)
- online marketplaces (including advising on the Platform to Business Regulations)
- intellectual property assignments, licences and other general IP advice
- IT, licensing, software as a service, managed services, hosting and support & maintenance agreements
- confidentiality / non-disclosure agreements
- data protection and privacy law compliance
- website terms and conditions, cookies & privacy policies, terms of use
Sam is a member of the firm's Information Law team and the 'lawyer-in-residence' team which provides support for start-up and early stage technology companies at SETsquared Bristol.
