The publication recognises individuals with exceptional performance in advising both domestic and international clients on a variety of immigration matters, such as visa applications, employee transfers, corporate immigration strategy, and more. The latest edition features practitioners from across 39 jurisdictions across the globe, and is the second consecutive edition in which Tom has featured.

Tom has more than 15 years' experience in immigration law, and regularly delivers in-depth training on immigration issues to clients across many sectors, including corporate, education, and pharmaceuticals & life sciences. He has already received recognition by independent legal directory Chambers and Partners in its High Net Worth guide with a ranking in immigration law. The wider Immigration team, led by Tom, has also seen great success, with a top-tier ranking in another leading independent directory, Legal 500. This, combined with feedback from peers and corporate counsel have positioned Tom as a prominent figure in his field.

One source in Who's Who Legal's analysis described Tom as "a tremendous practitioner, excellent trainer and one of the most approachable lawyers I know."

Tom commented: "It is certainly a tumultuous time in the immigration landscape at the moment, but it is heart-warming to be recognised in this manner once again. I'm very proud of this achievement, and particularly fond of the feedback provided for the publication. Whoever it was who said that - thank you!"

Such recognition is a welcome boost to VWV's profile on the world stage, with the firm looking to grow its presence further through an increased focus on international work. As founding members of the Association of European Lawyers and long-standing members of Eurojuris, VWV is well positioned in the international market to advise individuals on a large variety of international legal issues. These include advising on education projects from overseas investors, data protection issues, cross-border mergers and acquisitions, and much more.
