Redland 750x450

Proud of its Bristol origins, the firm is committed to supporting local community activity including through investment.

The club provide high quality sport sessions for young people and adults, as well as a pathway of performance for junior players interested in competing at a local and regional level.

The famous VWV 'spark' will feature on the front and back of the team's green kits for their upcoming season.

Commenting on the sponsorship, Leila Goodarzi, Head of VWV's Estates, Tax and Trusts team, said:

"I am delighted that VWV is able to sponsor Redland Juniors. Hopefully this partnership will help to raise awareness of the club and attract new players.

We play an active role in the local communities where we operate, not only in business but also in community life, and take our responsibilities towards the community seriously. This forms part of our Responsible Business commitment. It’s important that local businesses support each other, and this was a great opportunity to get involved with an ambitious team local to our Bristol and Henleaze offices."

VWV is proud to be supporting the club with providing a friendly, inclusive and vibrant junior hockey club in the Redland area.

Redland's Club President Cath Coombs said:

"Redland Ladies Hockey Club is pleased to be working with VWV, a national law firm, on our door step, committed to supporting its local community.

We are excited that the new sponsored junior kit is available and that so many of our juniors have started the season with it!"

VWV's community support goes wider than sponsorship. The firm's Charitable Trust makes regular grants to regionally based charities - donating £42,500 annually.

Each year staff choose a Charity of the Year for the firm to support through various fundraising activities and staff volunteering.

In May 2022, each office chose a new local charity to support, with a theme of mental wellbeing. Off the Record was chosen as the firm's Bristol office charity - a mental health social movement by and for young people aged 11-25.
