Commercial Property Law Update - Bristol

At this update, our Commercial Property team will be discussing the following:

• Refusing a New Lease - landlords sometime have the right to refuse a new lease even though the tenant is entitled to one under the Landlord and Tenant Act 1954. We will look at the grounds for refusal and some of the problems that can arise.
• Partnership Problems - changes in business partnerships often throw up unexpected issues for landlords and tenants and their advisers. We will be considering some of the pitfalls to avoid and some considerations to bear in mind.
• Recent Cases and Legal Update - we will review some important recent cases and consider their implications. We will also take a brief look at the application of the new Energy Efficiency Requirements which come into effect from April 2018.
